Anchorman is a sake brewery promotion company. Sake is getting more popular in the world. Actually International Wine Challenge(IWC), the most influential wine competition, has set up "sake section" since 2007. Anchorman partner with KIMCP to build a bridge between sake breweries and foreign end consumers.

Consumer:

The target audience for Anchorman’s first step is East Coast Tri-state Area. (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut)

The campaign goal was to raise brand awareness, culture exchange and market research.

We used questionnaires to collect consumer behaviors to learn how consumer respond to different kind of sake in order to better target the US market.

Result:

By hosting sake tasting and education events among the tri-state area, KIMCP was able to build a solid understanding about the brewing process of sake with varieties of Asian restaurants and bars owners.

This research helped Anchorman laid the foundation of the globalization of sake and their indomitable craftsmanship. Through hosting sake tasting event, it helps to provides strategic insights on developing new marketing and production approaches which can help revitalize the sake industry in Japan.
